Someone from our friendly staff will be there to greet you with a sign so you can easily identify them.
You may bring your own alcohol as long is it is not consumed anywhere on the dedicated areas in or outside the lodge. Due to strong liquor laws within British Columbia, it is okay for you to consume it in and around your room, but not in public areas. However you are allowed to bring your own wine to dinner, but there will be a corkage fee applied.
There is a possibility to get your Laundry wasched. If you wish to have clothes washed there is a $10 per load fee.
No fishing gear or tackle will be supplied to you other than a rod and reel. Waders and boots are available for rent at $100 per week.
Cars are available on site subject to availability. We do not charge for vehicle rentals, however, you are responsible for the fuel you used. If you do not replace the fuel that you used, there will be a per kilometer surcharge applied to your bill.
You most certainly can do an ocean fishing trip during your stay. We will provide you with a cooler and a vehicle and organize an ocean guide for you as soon as available. The fishing gear is on the boats. If you wish to do an ocean trip notice in advance would be greatly appreciated.
By British Columbia regulation standards you are allowed a total of 8 salmon for export, not exceeding a total combined weight of 20 KG entering the European Union. Each species has strict daily/possession quota that must be followed with no exceptions. We have an onsite provincial approved processing facility available to you at no charge.
All fish you wish to take home will be commercially cleaned, filleted, (cold smoke optional), vacuum packed labeled and frozen. We have coolers available for purchase that meet all airline regulations for export.
Yes, we have a fully licensed processing plant that processes cold smoked salmon available for purchase should you choose to take home extra.
There is no right or wrong answer to this question, for it all depends on what you’re looking to get out of your vacation. Every season offers different beauty, colors, weather, and species of fish. If you’re not fond of the cold then June-through August is your time to shine. If you like quiet and solitude then the spring and fall is likely going to be best suited for you. There is no better place on earth to fish for Steelhead and Salmon. Anytime of the season is a good time and offers quality fishing for a variety of species.
